Names and Titles

[edit]

I think there are some inconsistencies about the title and name of the Danzig state. First of all, only Polish is indicated as official language, but are indicated official names in other two languages, German and French. Secondly, the German and French articles about the same topic are named after the Republic of Danzig, not the Free City. So, I think it should be accurately checked which was (or were) the official languages of the state and then which was (or were) its official name(or names). Mayors

[edit]

I recently published an edit regarding the mayors of the Republic of Danzig. Firstly, Gottlieb Hufeland was the mayor for longer than listed. According to the former version, there was no mayor in 1811, which wasn't true. Secondly, Joachim von Weickhmann wasn't the mayor during the existence of the Republic of Danzig. While the Republic was abolished on January 2nd, 1814, Weickhmann became the mayor on February 19th, 1814 and was nominated by the Prussian king.
