Expanding the Article
[edit]There are a few possible places to expand this article: Going more into depth on the Providence branch discussed in the essay by Rebecca Valentine (Reference 7) as well as the African Benevolent Society which was founded after the Free African Union Society was disbanded. Regardless the Newport Archive has information on the organization as well as some of its members (Link to their page about the Society) (Link to their page about Abraham Casey).
