Not sure I understand the protocols of merging, but the article "Frederick Ahl" now contains the information previously in "Frederick M. Ahl," which redirects here. I did not attempt to improve the quality of the article(s), which reads more like a résumé than a biography, and which doesn't show much grasp of the distinctive intellectual character of Ahl's work.
