Dear Bradv I see you rejected this AfC. Why? The person is meeting N:OLYMPICS and is well referenced inline. So according to N:SPORTS there is no obligation for more sources. Sander.v.Ginkel (Talk) 17:56, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

There's no death date given, so I'm assuming he is still alive. That means the policy on biographies of living people applies, and multiple sources are needed. Bradv 17:59, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Bradv: If you take a look the reference (see here), you will notice that his date of death is missing. Before, I created these kind of articles (when >100 years) with Category:Possibly living, but that was all replaced by date of death missing. Sander.v.Ginkel (Talk) 18:06, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
These shouldn't be going through AfC anyway. There's a backlog of over 1000 articles, and you're creating 10 articles per minute. We can't possibly review them all in a timely manner, and we certainly can't be expected to discuss each one. Please stop for now until your ANI thread concludes. Genealogical information

[edit]

I looked him up on Ancestry and found that, according to the "New York, U.S., New York National Guard Service Cards, 1917-1954" and "U.S., World War II Draft Cards Young Men, 1940-19472, his full name was Frederick Adam Leinweber and his mother was called Christine. I can't find any record that says he's passed. Skycloud86 (talk) 11:45, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
