Image copyright problem with Image:Weavers.jpg
[edit]The image File:Weavers.jpg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. Beyond producing the record album Alice's Restaurant (1967)...
[edit]...and regretfully a very few reunion Weavers performances up till 1982, what as Fred Hellerman's career been since the Weavers were largely taken out of operation st the beginning of the 1950s? Masalai (talk) 14:32, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
Question about an assertion in the article
[edit]The article states (without citing a source) that the blacklisting of Hellerman was attributable to his left-wing activities in the 1930s and 1940s. Since he was born in 1927, he could not have been older than 13, even at the end of the 1930s, and was only 4 at the beginning of that decade. I doubt the inclusion of "1930s" is true, as applied to Hellerman (as opposed to the blacklisting of Weavers Pete Seeger and Lee Hays, who were a decade or so older then Hellerman and Ronnie Gilbert). I don't feel confident enough to edit the sentence, but seriously doubt its accuracy. PDGPA (talk) 02:12, 5 September 2016 (UTC)
