Pour le Mérite and date of death

[edit]

None of the sources I've viewed mention anything about him receiving the Pour le Mérite, I'm not sure where this information comes from. The article also had the date of his death wrong, not 31 January 1947 but 31 December 1946 seems to be the one all sources I looked at agree on. I changed it accordingly but left the Pour le Mérite for now. EA210269 (talk) 05:08, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I found a source, he did get the Pour le Mérite after all, I added it to the article.EA210269 (talk) 06:52, 8 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Massacres

[edit]

"was responsible for numerous massacres during the crushing of the Bavarian Soviet Republic." Is that an allegation or a fact? I presume they executed some Communist insurgents, which isn't what normal people understand a massacre to be. There is also no source given for the assertions being made against him. So essentially this article is nothing more but slander posing as 'historiography'.
