Franklin Location
[edit]Franklin, Michigan isn't *in* Southfield township, it is adjacent to it. The village is a separate political entity, one of more than 200 in the metropolitan Detroit area. 173.164.68.213 (talk) 00:41, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
- Villages in Michigan are not completely independent of the township in which they are located. As explained in the Southfield Township, Michigan article: The township shares some responsibilities with the villages of Franklin, Bingham Farms, and Beverly Hills. The township handles elections, animal control, tax collection, merchant and animal licensing and ordinances for the areas it represents. The incorporated village governments handle all other municipal services. older ≠ wiser 02:26, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

Stop deleting this section
[edit]This section is a very interesting topic for all of Franklin. Please stop deleting it, it's annoying. If you have a specific issue with content please let me know. I'll add references links etc, but it is not appropriate to remove this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.34.115.19 (talk) 22:00, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- IP 68 has been edit warring for a week to restore non encyclopedic WP:POV content. I've issued a final warning. 2601:188:180:B8E0:65F5:930C:B0B2:CD63 (talk) 22:10, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, Bob. Thought that was you. IP 68, I don't know what you think Wikipedia is, but you're incorrect on multiple levels. I'll leave a big list of resources on your talk page, but for right now, please read WP:OWN and WP:NPOV. This encyclopedia article is about the community, not for the community. I doubt anyone in New Delhi cares about your sidewalk issues. John from Idegon (talk) 22:43, 16 July 2020 (UTC)
