Religious 'First' as MP?
[edit]Is he claimable as the first Spiritualist MP? His election in 1929 preceded that (in by-election) of Thomas Brooks in 1942. Had he remained a Salvation Army adherent at time of his election? I notice he is said to have openly embraced spiritualism (potentially membership of Spiritualist Church) in the 1890s.Cloptonson (talk) 10:31, 23 December 2014 (UTC)
