[edit]Wikipedia gives Frank E. Powell; LC authority file gives Frank L. Powell; also IMDb states that he was married in 1915 so he was likely an adult by that point; he may still be alive; but I doubt it. I can do more research in newspaper archives--FeanorStar7 (talk) 02:36, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- Unless he was only 9 when he made his Broadway debut, he must have been born before Tomoji Tanabe, which would mean that he's deceased; I can't imagine that a Canadian film pioneer would go unnoticed as the world's oldest man. I'm pretty rabid about WP:BLP and I like to make very certain before I move people out of Category:Living people and Category:Possibly living people, but I think it's very safe to say that Category:Year of death missing is appropriate here.
