It does not mention his footballing. His age is given as 30, indicating a birth year of 1911 or 1912. I realise, having read the newspaper report his death is cited to, that he was last seen alive on the 17th and his body discovered the next day. As he apparently lived in Maidenhead I wonder if his death/funeral were mentioned in local newspaper reports for that district that might mention more about his footballing?
