Rewrite
[edit]This article is horrible. It needs to be re-written; whoever wrote it as it is now apparently thought he was supposed to be writing a novelisation, as opposed to an encyclopedia.98.17.156.31 (talk) 15:58, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
Yeah most of this article is pretty screwy like ^^^^ said. Dont you Wiki editors pay attention to these discussion pages???24.78.195.167 (talk) 18:46, 8 October 2009 (UTC)
Skin colour
[edit]Reading the article the impression is given that there are major racial overtones, but no mention at all is made of the skin colour of either of the protagonists; this is either a major omission, or political correctness gone mad. If there are no racial factors, the text should be modified so as not to imply there are; otherwise it should be said. I will make no changes on this aspect as I don't know about the topic. Badly needs revision
[edit]In addition to mistakes in sentence construction ("officers continued to accuse Detective Lyga of being a racist murder"), there are statements which need sources ("All of Stallworth's allegations were proven false by the LAPD, District Attorney's Office and the Department of Justice investigations") and then there are these sentences: "In fact, he wished there were more of "them" (Gangsters pointing guns) in the car at the time. He stated that he could have killed a truckload of "them" (Gangsters pointing guns) and not felt anything and would be happy doing it." The contents of the parentheses in these sentences, in addition to being oddly capitalized, are not sourced and, in fact, are not supported by the audiotapes of the conversation in question. This article appears to need serious revision. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.186.16.216 (talk) 16:27, 18 October 2014 (UTC)
I've done some serious revision to that section and warned the editor.Sperril (talk) 21:46, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
