Liberalism

Quoting from the article:

lead, Cobb "famous for editorials in support of the policies of liberal Democrats such as Woodrow Wilson."
section 2, The World "a power in the {History of the United States Democratic Party piped to} Democratic Party because of its liberalism and its crusades against big business and government corruption."

I suppose that "liberal Democrats" or the L-word should be linked somehow to Progressivism in the United States, or one of its sections, or another P-article (certainly not to liberal democrat or Liberal Democrats).
