Use of the phrase "Lost Battalion"?
[edit]The Dutch Governor, Jonkheer Dr. A.W.L. Tjarda Van Starkenborgh Stachouwer and Lieutenant-General Ter Poorten, together with Major-General Jacob J. Pesman, the commander of the Bandoeng District, met the Japanese Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant-General Hitoshi Imamura at Kalidjati that afternoon and agreed to the capitulation of all the troops. Fujita was captured along 550 other members of what became known as the Lost Battalion.
The phrase Lost Battalion goes to a disambig page. One of the selections is Lost Battalion (World War II), however that refers to the unit (also from the 36th Infantry Division/Texas National Guard) that was cut off by the Germans in Europe and was rescued by the 442nd Regimental Combat Team.
Any thoughts on how best to handle the usage of this phrase in this article? Thanks. KConWiki (talk) 12:01, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
- Looks like the link should go to 131st Field Artillery Regiment (United States), which is notable per WP:MILUNIT.--RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 01:02, 29 March 2013 (UTC)

Fujita's Book
