Frank Clark (American football)Frank Clark – Over the last 5 years he has had about 5x as many page views as all other Frank Clarks and in 2023, about 10x. TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 13:29, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

User:TonyTheTiger, I tend to be reluctant in supporting primary topics, especially in cases of common names and/or WP:RECENTISM, although in this case, as you point out, the football player's pageviews extend over some 5 years. Taking into account that the football player does indeed receive a relatively high number of pageviews and also the fact that my vote has so far remained as the only one, I am striking "Oppose" and replacing it with "Neutral". —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 00:38, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Given how many there are, he would have to have overwhelmingly more long-term significance than the others to be primary, and he has not. Remember that American football is not a global sport and most people outside the US will never even have heard of him. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:20, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
