Notability

[edit]

Removed tag questioning notability. On the article's face the presumption of notability is met. According to WP:NMMA a fighter is notable if the fighter has fought at least three (3) professional fights for a top-tier MMA organization. A top-tier MMA organization is clearly defined in WP:MMANOT and Bellator Fighting Championships is listed as such an organization. The article clearly states with a citation that Frank Caraballo has fought three times in the Bellator Fighting Championships and each fight is given some detail with a citation. Further, references cited to in the article are well known and reliable in MMA, such as Sherdog and MMAjunkie.com. In short, WP:MMA is clearly met. If someone feels that this fighter is one of the very rare instances where someone meets the sport-specific guideline but still does not meet WP:GNG then that debate can be started by that person (e.g., by nominating for deletion). However, until that point since WP:MMA is clearly met there is no need to put a tag that notability is in question. RonSigPi (talk) 19:38, 18 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
