Two pictures: "F/O Franciszek Gruszka with his ground staff members 1940", and "The funeral of F/O Franciszek Gruszka at Northolt War Cemetery 1975" were removed from Commons. Franciszek Gruszka's Crash Site

[edit]

Hi, I live in Westbere, (near Canterbury), and it is commonly understood that Franciszek and Spitfire R6713 crashed in the marshes surrounding our village. Hence R6713 relics are held in nearby Kent museums and our memorial to him on our village green. I'm interested to know why there appears to be some confusion as to the crash site. Does anyone know the sources for the Sussex crash site? Many thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.24.133.21 (talk) 02:28, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
