Francisco Pizarro (footballer) → Francisco Javier Pizarro Cartes – Name of footballer conflicts with significant historic person. Pageview statistics show this footballer to almost have no views, probably safe to assume all views come from link on main page of famous historic person. New name for the article move is full name of football player, taken from a source on his own article here: http://www.national-football-teams.com/player/22713/Francisco_Pizarro.html YesButNo (talk) 12:06, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
- Nope. That's what hatnotes are for, as multiple editors with multiple years of experience keep telling you. We're not vandals, and we're not stupid. Let it go and move on.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 12:44, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose - He is listed in team squads as Francisco Pizarro and not as above (Francisco Javier Pizarro Cartes). Denisarona (talk) 12:54, 6 January 2017 (UTC)
- Yawn - There is fierce competition here for preserving the unnecessary half-note clutter on the Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro page. You may keep this footballer no matter how obscure he may be. I don't care. YesButNo (talk) 20:39, 10 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose per WP naming policies. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:40, 11 January 2017 (UTC)
