[edit]Picture of de Souza?
The illustration for this article looks suspect to me: it really, really looks like Garibaldi (see, for instance, here, here, here, here, and even here). According to the Wikimedia metadata this picture originates in a PDF that in turn credits it to the Centro de Estudos Africanos. The Centre's site doesn't include any access to their archive, so there's no way to check this online, but even if that image is labelled in the Centre's archive as being of de Souza I strongly suspect it's erroneous (even professional picture libraries often have very poor-quality metadata for their images; for poorly funded research centres that's even more likely to be the case).
Can anyone find any other example of this image that independently describes it as being of de Souza? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jonathandore (talk • contribs) 17:14, 7 October 2011 (UTC)
- Wikipedia Português says Francisco Félix de Sousa is Afro-Brazilian but here it says he is white people. Which one is correct? 60.250.158.7 (talk) 05:22, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
