Tone

The tone of this article seems more appropriate for a memorial essay than for an encyclopedia article. Sentences like "Francisco Alonso Liongson (1896–1965) lived in one of the most exciting periods of Philippine history" are a point-of-view, but more importantly, it's just gratuitous. I suggest that the more flowery sections of this article ("His works have since become precious gems of Philippine Literature") be trimmed down to factual statements. -- Khazar2 (talk) 13:59, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
