[edit]It looks to me like there is some confusion between this Drake and his younger brother - read the DoCB article to see what I'm talking about... Fawcett5 15:03, 28 September 2005 (UTC)
- Would you be able to point out the discrepancy? With so many Francis Drakes it's totally confusing! The article is meant to be about the individual who was governor of Newfoundland from 1750 to 1752. Some of the reference material I had used was a combination of three sources, two of them are listed as external links (which BTW is about the same individual) and the third which is not electronic, it is The Encyclopedia of Newfoundland and Labrador. There must be some confusion, because at the very end it has him getting married AFTER his death! RCL 1 August 2006

I know nothing about this person, but I do know that the statement "the third son of Anne Heathcote and Sir Francis Henry Drake, a descendant of Sir Francis Drake" is incorrect since Sir Francis Drake had no offspring and therefore no descendants. I will therefore remove the final clause. SMeeds 22:35, 30 January 2007 (UTC)
