Tutor
[edit]One of his tutorial pupils from outwith Balliol was the young AJP Taylor, whose autobiography pays tribute to Urquhart as a tutor. Taylor also made Urquhart's father, David, the subject of one of his Ford Lectures, published as "The Troublemakers".Delahays (talk) 17:37, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
Clarify, please
[edit]He is often taken as having influenced the fictional characters of Mr Samgrass in Waugh's Brideshead Revisited and, more closely, Sillery in Powell's A Dance to the Music of Time, as well as a character of Walter Pater.
