Date of retirement is wrong

[edit]

I know this is first hand research, but I was a Freshman at Harvard in 1976 and graduated in 1980 and took the Celestial Navigation class from her, which was a regular class, with about 20 kids in it. It consisted of two classroom sessions a week and one "lab" session held on the roof of the Science Center where we would practice using sextants. Some of these were at night, and some were at noon, as you would expect. I believe this would have been the 1978-1979 school year.

So, certainly the date of retirement is wrong. I'm not sure what the correct date is. 2601:1C2:4C00:231:AD88:560:B239:FFBD (talk) 15:44, 30 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
