Too many Frances Burneys

[edit]

Re. categories for this article: I wasn't sure whether or not to put her name, because it is the same as the name of her much more famous aunt, and it could be confusing. Virtually anyone looking up "Frances Burney" would be seeking the aunt, not the niece, I'm sure.scribblingwoman 13:16, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Two Questions

[edit]

>It has been speculated by the author of her ODNB entry...

This clearly needs to be expanded upon or removed.

>Having suffered attacks of jaundice throughout her life, Frances Burney died in 1828, in Bath.

This implies she died as a result of having jaundice. Is that true? Rissa, Guild of Copy Editors (talk) 03:31, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of templates

[edit]

I have added references and sources, and have taken the liberty of removing the templates. If anyone disagrees, please say so here! I also tried to address the issues raised by Rissa, above. — scribblingwoman 21:39, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
