Norwegian-French alliance?

If you have a look at that link there's a mention of King Eric the second allying Norway with France...

I haven't found anything else indicating an alliance though so it might not even exist for all I know...
But I though it could perhaps be something we could look into a little further...
In any case, the article is depressingly short in it's current state.
