Feasibility of Article

Wikipedia is a serious, factual encyclopedia. I am sincerely doubtful that Ms Godfrey is not 90 next year; please can posts be kept sensible, please. I will remove it, unless anyone has proof of her age, and is prepared to back it up with hard evidence.--Jonfun 16:56, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

As all good TOGs know, on her age, Fran will only say she is 'the wrong side of 40'. This means that anyone adding a year of birth to this article is probably doing so without knowing whether it is factual or not - and I doubt Fran would add one herself. 81.156.156.29 (talk) 20:04, 28 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone has added her year of birth as 1953. To my knowledge Fran has never revealed her age, but in case it is correct I've left it in and requested a reference. TheRetroGuy (talk) 13:21, 19 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Date of birth

While I'm here, why is her BBC biography given as a reference for her date of birth? It says nothing about this. I know it occurrs at the end of June as it's often been mentioned on air by presenters if she's presenting bulletins on her birthday, but a year has never been given.
