notability
[edit]If you look at "Google Actualités" you will see that basically every Tibet related news story that appears in the French media cites Françoise Robin. There are far too many to take note of. I don't think her notability can really be seen as an issue.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Tibetologist (talk • contribs)

Notability still in question...
[edit]@Tibetologist: If this new interview is considered RS she might meet the threshold for GNG (very unlikely to meet NPROF). JoelleJay (talk) 03:21, 7 February 2021 (UTC)
What's the news
[edit]We had a discussion about notability back in December, and my read of it (since it wasn't deleted) was that this discussion was in favor of retaining the article. I don't see where the new grounds for deletion have been proposed. Is there some discussion I have missed? Tibetologist (talk) 18:22, 9 August 2021 (UTC)
- Tibetologist there are several deletion processes. You're correct in this was proposed, and there was discussion so it was not deleted. Boleyn still felt there were open concerns and brought it for discussion here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Françoise Robin where you're welcome to weigh in. Keynote address
[edit]She gave the keynote address at the 2014 Himalayan Studies Conference at Yale University. That certainly suggests she's considered a significant academic in her field. Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 03:43, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
