I think "a founder of the field of biogeochemistry" will need a citation/ref. Since in the page of biogeochemistry, his father is Vladimir Vernadsky.
I believe REDQEL would be better put with the research content and you can move his retirement to his education/bio section. Then you will need to tune the title a little bit.
