I wrote this stub just to get something up for Ruffin; it's partly a rough translation from the French wikipedia article (excuse any translation mistakes I've made, my French isn't great), and partly from Philip Haythornthwaite's book "The Peninsular War". Carre 09:47, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
