details?

[edit]

When and where? The Big Cartoon Database mentions the toon being done by Filmation in the 70s, but IMDB mentions nothing of a 1970s cartoon at all - nor 80s onward. What channel did this air on? What country did it air in? -- IP editor, 2006

Voices

[edit]

How exactly do we know that Lennie Weinrib voiced all the lives? We don't have database records stating that he voiced all of them. Thet00nedl00n (talk) 23:05, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

"Puss 'n' Boats" mistakenly titled "This Cat for Hire".

[edit]

The article says that the "Puss 'n' Boats" episode gets mistakenly titled "This Cat for Hire" on Mill Creek Entertainment DVDs. I checked one of mine though, and the back of the DVD box says "The Cat for Hire", not this. I have another one, but that one doesn't have the title on the box and doesn't seem to have it on the actual DVD either, and the short doesn't have a title card. I didn't check for the title on the one with the wrong name on the back of the box, but the DVDs are very similar, so I assume it's not their either. It's VERY scratched up, but I guess I could check it if I have to.

The one I have with the wrong name on the back of the box is titled 200 Classic Cartoons: Collector's Edition, and is from 2008. The one I have without the title on the back (but which I watched the short with) is titled 200 Classic Cartoons: Toon Tube, and is from 2015.

Did some more research on this and found the listing for the 2008 DVD on Mill Creek website (linked above) and it ALSO says "the". And so does this one! However, I can't find anything saying "This". Because of that, I think I'm gonna change the article to say "Mistakenly titled The Cat for Hire, and sometimes This Cat for Hire [citation needed].", or something along those lines.
