Performed a general cleanup, edited prolixities and removed the spam notice. Didn't see much spam, more like removing a few NPOV nits or company-specific advertisements.--Robertkeller 17:11, 24 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fractional Ownership operationally equivalent to Timeshare

[edit]

Sorry, but there is a certain amount of semantic jiggery-pokery to obscure the fact that an actual resident shares actual residency enjoyment of the property time-slice-wise with other owners of the property. Don't add text to implicitly deny that structural aspect of the living: it may not be 'timeshare', but it is time-sharing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JohndanR (talkcontribs) 03:49, 18 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sports memorabilia

[edit]

What specifically in this section is unsourced? I can't link to the companies performing these fractioanlization actions since apparently that is advertising...

Investment in iconic pieces of sports memorabilia, including sports cards, game-used items, trophies, autographs, and other historically significant documents is now possible through fractionalization. Prior to fractional ownership, investment in this industry was limited to those with ample capital and industry expertise. As these assets appreciate (or depreciate) over time, peer-to-peer trading allows the share price to increase/decrease to reflect market conditions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.197.55.87 (talk) 20:34, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:RS and WP:PRIMARY. If a reliable secondary source hasn't written about it, it doesn't belong in the encyclopedia. If the only sources you have are primary, i.e. the actual companies doing it, then it doesn't belong in the encyclopedia. I invite you to ask the editors at WP:TEAHOUSE for a second opinion. I also urge you to learn how to sign talk page posts, with four tildes, which will automatically insert your IP address. - Julietdeltalima (talk) 20:37, 3 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
