[edit]Is it sure south is at the top in the picture? it doesn't appear so
- I think the caption is saying "Normally this map is shown with south at the top (presumably this is the orientation Mauro intended when he created the map), but this picture has been inverted so that's not the case." The wording could be made clearer, I guess. Bryan 17:23, 7 December 2005 (UTC)
Suggested merge
[edit]Since Wikipedia is not a universal directory of names, it doesn't aid the reader to have a separate article for Fra Mauro, who is only encyclopediable for this map. --Wetman 01:34, 30 December 2006 (UTC)
Moon
[edit]The Fra Mauro if an area of the moon surriunded by oceanus procellarum and is the landing site of the Apollo 14 Lunar Module.
Perhaps this page should be made a disambiguation page between them Bryan A (talk) 20:17, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Bibliography
[edit]The Bibliography section feels really unfinished. I think we should change it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.47.206.121 (talk) 10:31, 27 March 2021 (UTC)
