- Nop, Name of species, is generally capatilized. (Maybe the reptile people do it different, but this is what I see at all bird and mammal pages.)-- Kim van der Linde at venus 04:01, 5 June 2006 (UTC)
Crother et al. 2008 lists the species name for the fox snake as Pantherophis vulpinus. Therefore the justification in keeping the species name as Elaphe vulpina is not valid.
