Comment

This is not an advertisment. This is an encylopedia article about a former Pittsburgh news reporter who started a company in the Pittsburgh area. Nothing in here is biased or telling anyone to buy a product. Please do not delete (Theovoice (talk) 20:13, 5 November 2008 (UTC))[reply]

Notability not really satisfied

[edit]

Wikipedia's standards for notability for organizations would seem to indicate a need for something more than a couple of local papers and a puff piece on a university website. Has this organizations been covered elsewhere in the press? Or won significant awards? Or something other than just beign another small company like thousands of others? -- SiobhanHansa 22:48, 7 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This isn't a deletion discussion it's an attempt to build up the article - please provide evidence that helps meet our notability standards. -- SiobhanHansa 20:29, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I have argued the notability claim endlessly in the AfD page. I am not alone in editors wishing to keep this page up. If we can get past this claim, I have a couple points about your previous edits SiobhanHansa. You correctly noted that the link to Rite Aid's "Giving Care to Parents" Series does not mention FLS, however I am now putting in a press release that shows the two companies partnered. Also, the videos include the FLS logo. Theovoice (talk) 20:51, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

[edit]

Does anyone have recommendations for the best way to format citations? I've seen a couple different in wikipedia, including the link right in the citation or a normal MLA format with the link as a number at the end. Thanks70.89.229.25 (talk) 15:05, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have no preference. Eastmain did a good job a couple days ago of mentioning the date of publication and such. For the medical journals at least, it might be beneficial to cite them as one would in a scholarly work, then have the small box with a number at the end so users can access the website.Theovoice (talk) 15:29, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
