[edit]- The Four Seasons (Piazzolla), the collective name for four tangos by Astor Piazzolla
- The Four Seasons (restaurant)
- The Four Seasons (movie), a 1981 film directed by Alan Alda and starring Carol Burnett. [1]
- Four Seasons (Chagal), a ceramic mural at Chase Tower in Chicago
- Four Seasons, Inc., a division of Standard Motor Products, Inc.
- The Four Seasons (ballet), a ballet by Kenneth MacMillan
I can't tell if any of these are noteable. If there were articles written about them, then collectively we could see if they were noteable. In the meantime, let's leave them here on the talk page so they're not cluttering things up on the main page. Tedernst | talk 22:42, 29 December 2005 (UTC)

Linking to Seasons
[edit]I disagree that season is going to be a likely referent, and being the source of the phrase is a good reason to put it in see also, since it's not ambiguous. Rather than being a likely referent, readers are unlikely to look up "season" by the term "four seasons" or similar. -- JHunterJ (talk) 13:22, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- But four seasons, as well as the four seasons and 4 seasons, redirects here. Should we change those lowercase redirects to point to Season and hatnote that article to direct users who want one of the capitalized versions here?--ShelfSkewed Talk 14:46, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- They should redirect here. Readers looking for "season" are not going to be using "four seasons", "the four seasons" or "4 seasons" either -- readers searching on one of those terms will be looking for one of the "Four Seasons" here much more often than for Season. -- JHunterJ (talk) 14:58, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- More often, yes, so perhaps the "season" entry should be moved down—but not, I think, relegated to the See also section. There is a topic called "the four seasons" (lowercase) dealt with in the article Season—even if it not explicitly named "four seasons" in that article, I think common sense and common use should prevail here—and it should be included somewhere in the main list.--ShelfSkewed Talk 15:15, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- Sure -- an "Other uses" then? -- JHunterJ (talk) 15:22, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
- I'm okay with that. --ShelfSkewed Talk 15:24, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
