  • Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:NCORP) but presently does not. As other reviewers have noted, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see referencing for beginners or the article Easier Referencing for Beginners. Honestly, I think it is going to difficult establishing that the Coalition is significantly "notable" to justify a page. Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements then resubmit the page and ping me and I would be happy to reassess. As I said, I do think this draft has potential so please do persevere! Cabrils (talk) I have just added several sources from third parties to confirm that this NGO exists. Last summer when it was launched it made a hit in the local media. Some articles are written in Maltese and in those articles, the NGO is referred to as Il-Koalizzjoni għall-Konservazzjoni tan-Naħla Maltija - these references are secondary, independent, and reliable (as it is from the local Maltese media). The rest of the references are for the content which is mainly from scientific papers so they are also secondary, independent, and reliable.

The information provided so far is just the beginning, in the near future, the page would be updated to include initiatives, action plans, and publications by this NGO. --NahlaMaltija (talk) 09:16, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Symbol opinion vote.svg Comment: Good work on further developing the draft. As I wrote in my previous comment: "Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject." Because the Coalition for the Conservation of the Maltese Honey Bee is an organisation, it needs to meet the requirements of WP:NCORP to be accepted. On that page, the Primary Criteria is defined as: "A company, corporation, organization, group, product, or service is presumed notable if it has been the subject of significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary sources that are independent of the subject. These criteria, generally, follow the general notability guideline with a stronger emphasis on quality of the sources to prevent gaming of the rules by marketing and public relations professionals. The guideline, among other things, is meant to address some of the common issues with abusing Wikipedia for advertising and promotion. As such, the guideline establishes generally higher requirements for sources that are used to establish notability than for sources that are allowed as acceptable references within an article." (see WP:ORGCRIT) On my readying, the draft does not have sufficient evidence of notability. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but none of the references contain "significant coverage" the Coalition-- yes, the Coalition is named and mentioned very briefly, but that is not sufficient to establish notability. Further, on my reading, none of the sources are especially credible and they fall short of the "generally higher requirements for sources that are used to establish notability". Please persevere though as hopefully there may be some other references. Cabrils (talk) 22:02, 22 December 2022 (UTC)

I have listed at least 10 sources ([1][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]) that mention this NGO - they all talk about its work and contribution towards the conservation of the maltese bee most of those articles are from popular news agencies in Malta like Times of Malta and Maltatoday - they all print newspaper, it was also featured on the national TV channel (TVM). Quote from the article "The Coalition for the Conservation of Maltese bees has written to the authorities in concern over the increase in the presence of the Oriental hornet which it said was causing a great deal of damage to the Maltese bee population. It said that the Oriental hornet attacks the bees, apart from posing a danger to humans."
