Program used
Anyone know what program they use to animate this show? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.141.81.65 (talk) 00:20, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- Adobe Flash. It's been mentioned already in the article. I am the 0dd1. (talk) 04:28, 22 December 2008 (UTC)
Section Length
It seems to me that length of each of the sections (especially the character ones) are WAY too long. They have a lot of good information but it seems that a lot of it isn't necessary in an encyclopedia article and is more like trivia. I figured I'd ask here before editing anything, just in case. Does anybody really disagree with this? Brain 22:50, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
- My only concern is for some of the more sprawling character bios when there's a separate article for that, the rest reads fine but anything that seems trivial can be edited away and if anyone dislikes it they could always revert and take out what they feel to be correct. No need to have an editwar over it. --treelo talk 21:35, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
Article assessment
I concur that the article is B class. It covers the majority of the information you would expect. It's greatest weakness is that none of the information is verifiable to the reader so I have tagged it with a request for citations. I have rated it as mid importance as the show has been recognised with awards.--Opark 77 23:29, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
Foster's Home Parody
There was a parody of Foster's Home where a kid and all imaginary friends laughed and the house blew up. What title is it? I think it was shown on the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.--168.13.191.66 17:03, 25 April 2007 (UTC)
Reply: it was Fister's house for crazy-weirdo people (or something like that)
Imaginary Friends (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends)
How bout I put up an article titled "Imaginary Friends (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends) since someone put up an article called Humans (Star Wars). Jimblack 00:15, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Jimblack
- That's about the worst reasoning I've ever seen. No.--Atlan (talk) 00:50, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends (Home)
Did you just delete my foster's home for imaginary friends (home) article because I didn't use the talk page first or it just was not important? It should have been an article in Wikipedia a long time ago. Jimblack 01:04, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Jimblack
- It was deleted (along with all of the articles you created in the past), because it's absolutely redundant to have a seperate article for the "home" of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. It has no real world significance outside of the tv show. You have made countless articles about very minor things pertaining to a TV show (usually Avatar) and they've all been deleted for the same reason.--Atlan (talk) 01:09, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Fifth season
Fifth season is already began that is very symbolic (PPG ended up after five seasons and one full-length movie), but I still wish to see Goo and Mac at least hugging (and possibly - kissing)!
Are you even sure Goo and mac like each other? Frankie and Herriman speculated because they thought Mac let her in the house. Oh, and this is about the article, not romantic relationships or series finales.
I hope it doesn't end with five seasons. This is a really good show, and there are still some questions to be answered. For example, was Terrence always mean or was he nice in the past, and what or who lead him to become this way?--Wardog108 17:04, 29 June 2007 (UTC)
Is there any proof or reference to the show actual ending? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.79.247.222 (talk) 07:48, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
Location
I think the NW US is a good bet. The article mentioned an episode in which there was snow; however, in the middle of "Cookie Dough," we are told that it is "the dead of winter," while it rains heavily and people walk around with umbrellas. this would seem to fit Washington weather patterns, wouldn't it? User: Snyrt
I agree too. I don't know why it was deleted before. You should definitely put it back.--Wardog108 14:12, 9 July 2007 (UTC)
- It was deleted because this is not a fact. This is only your opinion. If you can provide prof that it is washington, than yes you should put it, but otherwise don't. If you cant prove it, don't put it in. I live in connecticut, and we have some winters where it rains, and others when it snows, and plus this is a cartoon, so really you cant tell. EvilHom3r 13:21, 10 July 2007 (UTC)
- Plus, um, if it were in Washington, how would Bloo drive the bus to North New Hampshire in one day?
In the "Cheese-A-Go-Go," a package at the beginning of the episode showed that they're in Georgia. 68.239.225.99 16:37, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- I meant the episode "Cheese-A-Go-Go."68.239.225.99 16:38, 1 August 2007 (UTC)
- Just because Frankie was mailing a package TO Georgia doesn't mean the house is in GA. There's no return label on that box, just the address of the destination. NeitherSparky (talk) 04:47, 23 March 2008 (UTC)
During "Good Wilt Hunting" they said something about Boston —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.92.192.102 (talk) 16:25:34, August 19, 2007 (UTC)
- It's an animated cartoon. It's fiction. Why do people obsess over where a fictional television show "takes place" when the creators likely never even gave it any thought and never set it in any specific place? If this is the case, which it is, no matter how many "clues" obsessive fans fool themselves into thinking they've unraveled, it's completely irrelevent not to mention totally inaccurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.230.51.187 (talk) 04:51, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- I've just rather savagely edited the Geography section as it was full of speculation and Original research. I've left in some of the references to episodes that were there, but to be honest, i'm really not sure what the whole section adds to the article. Ged UK (talk) 21:46, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Ending the Show in 2009?
I'm not the one to complain or anything, but does anyone have actual proof that the show will somehow end in 2009? Please respond, thank you--Wardog108 16:10, 31 July 2007 (UTC)
I haven't seen anything that says the show ends in 2009.--24.224.26.221 00:55, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
It's just that a while ago, someone just said "This show will or possibly end in 2009." Then again, it must've been some random text that was just added. Plus, this isn't the first time someone did this.--Wardog108 14:40, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
I recall reading somewhere that the show was only signed to run for seven seasons. I unfortunately don't recall where I saw this, but if that is how long the series is to run for, 2009 would most likely be the year the series comes to an end. Sorry if this doesn't help much. Roman Dog Bird 02:04, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
There is NO proof that the show will end in 2009; in fact, Lauren Faust herself confirmed on the Never Forgotten Foster's Home Community Forum that Season SEVEN was well-underway in production, and other inside animators have since stated on their blogs that the seventh season has been finished, and that the cast and crew are taking a well-deserved two-month break. I would wager that given the current popularity, with new lines of merchandising, including the growling line of products available at Hot Topic, it is not in the immediate plans of CN to end the show. I'd also guess that a lot of the claims of the impending demise of the show can be traced back to a member of the TV.com forum, who has repeated stated that the show is on its way out because he and his friends did not like any of the early Season Seven episodes. pitbulllady —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.0.210.122 (talk) 01:35, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
I haven't seen ANY eps of this on Cartoon Network in Forever. This is what led me up to visiting this page. Do they even SHOW it in the US anymore?? --Samikaze (talk) 02:35, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
I saw Foster's on Cartoon Network a few days ago, Samikaze. And, they do show Foster's on the US, it's just that it was in a hiatus like Rocko did after a short break in Nicktoons Network. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.243.17.185 (talk) 19:28, 13 March 2009 (UTC)
I made the last talk, so I watched the finale of the show and Cheese actually last apearred in the last episode, not in "Cheese a Go-Go". Did you watch the finale, Samikaze? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.243.19.150 (talk) 23:04, 3 May 2009 (UTC)
Parodies
Do we really need the Parodies section? I'm considering taking it out, but I want your opinion first. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.240.130.75 (talk) 05:12, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

The show will probably end in 2009. They dont even show it anymore! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.52.208.69 (talk) 15:28, 11 January 2009 (UTC)
Different rating
I wonder what other countries say about this show to given it diffent ratings.--Wardog108 20:08, 2 December 2007 (UTC)
Character Section
Ok. The Character List was deleted, but before, the main characters hade their own sections. Now there's no character List at all! Shouldn't someone make one? Loolylolly1997 (talk) 01:49, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
- I agree? I was curious about how this series was going and now I can't even remember the main characters name! Kyosei (talk) 05:51, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
- The character list page is back. What is lacking now is a link to the page. 202.128.55.167 (talk) 05:08, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Other Characters
Where would eb a good place to mention inclusions of other characters? For example, in the flea market episode, characters resembling Mario+Luigi are seen, and in the Adopt-a-thone pisode, there's a main character for the episode that resembles Lucas from Mother 3. -Rikara (talk) 22:04, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Not in this article. If anywhere, is should be List of characters in Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, though whether that's for one off characters is a discussion for that page. Ged UK (talk) 21:58, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Setting
Where does this show take place? It may be around Philadelphia, PA because the channel 6 logo is similar to WPVI's logo. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.207.209.16 (talk) 09:49, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
- It doesn't say for sure. Also, that is original research.--70.62.142.66 (talk) 02:53, 30 December 2010 (UTC)
Facts about Friends
This is a good section as it explaines a good amount of information about imaginary friends. I believe it shouldn't be deleted. We should change the name, because it sounds like a magazine article, instead of a subject. I'm just commenting because I know someone will try to delete it. Oh, and I noticed that it said Officer Nina creted a characteristic of Eduardo UNconsiously instead of SUBconsiously.
Markdoc (talk) 10:11, 17 June 2012 (UTC)6/17/12 A correction to the description of Wilt. He has two arms. One is much shorter than the other. It got injured when he was playing a very important basketball game with the little boy that created him.
