There is so much to say about the bridge. I believe that it was the first bridge designed with the aid of computers. I need to get started on another Wikipedia article like I need a hole in my head, but now I'll probably have to do it.... WQED, Pittsburgh's public broadcasting station, does great documentaries about the 'Burgh's history, including one called "Flying Off the Bridge to Nowhere" that tells about the FPB and others around town.
