The measure
[edit]Fort Montgomery was placed about 3/4 of a mile from the US-Canada border. That caused a problem. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Olan1778 (talk • contribs) 14:15, 26 April 2010 (UTC)
The problem?
[edit]If it werent for the measurement, The invasion of Canada during the War of 1812 couldve gone smoother — Preceding unsigned comment added by Olan1778 (talk • contribs) 14:18, 26 April 2010 (UTC)

Fort Montgomery Sold
[edit]Fort Montgomery was sold to two Canadian brothers in 2022 who have hopes of some restoration of the fort and development of some sort of commercial space. Hopefully they are able to put their plans into motion and preserve some of what is left of the fort. It's sad to see it sit in such ruin.
