Are you sure it's a state park?
[edit]The state parks website (first external link Washington State Parks: official Fort Casey State Park website) shows no knowlege of it, and the SPU Camp Casey Conference Center link (second external link Seattle Pacific University Casey Conference Center history page) makes it sound like it's belonged to SPU ever since the military got rid of it. --Haruo (talk) 03:11, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Haruo, I looked into your query and found the answer quite easily. Yes, it is a state park [1]. As to your other query, the university has ownership of the former Army barracks and some of the officer's quarters for their conference center and sports camps, but that's all they own and operate at Camp Casey (see here for more). -- WV ● ✉ ✓ 03:20, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Well, when I follow the state parks link I get an error message that says:
- HomeCustom404
- We're sorry, but there is not a web page matching your entry.
- You entered: http://www.parks.wa.gov/505/Fort-Casey
- Click here to go to the home page
- I have to click a couple of times to get to list of parks which does list Fort Casey with a link to a URL that looks like the same one that gave me the error message... Weird... anyhow, I think the URL in the External Links needs to be updates somehow. Thanks for the followup, though. --Haruo (talk) 13:31, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Well, when I follow the state parks link I get an error message that says:
- Okay, I fixed it. "www.parks.wa.gov" had to be changed to "parks.state.wa.gov". --Haruo (talk) 13:34, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Strange. All I did was copy and he link I went to where theater and information was located. It all came up fine for me. Very weird. -- WV ● ✉ ✓ 14:06, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
