On 12 December 2021, it was proposed that this article be moved from Formula One World Champions to Formula One World Champion. The result of the discussion was moved.

Creation

After noticing the article List of Formula One World Champions, it was decided that the article would be better suited as a disambiguation page. Rather than the "List" article it had been before, with a picture and three links, I have created a new reformatted version of the article in an attempt to evade confusion for those looking for either List of Formula One World Drivers' Champions or List of Formula One World Constructors' Champions. Instead of making List of Formula One World Champions a separate entity to the latter, it is now a helpful page to redirect people to what they were looking for. July 2019

Although this page included the {{disambiguation}} template, it was not written in the style of a DAB, which are short and include only links to ambiguously named pages. The article also includes the {{set index article}} template, and indeed it is written more like an article. I therefore removed the disambiguation template, and expanded the description of the two championships with content from each list article.
