Happy to take up the review.

  • "and was later uploaded to Gomez's official YouTube account." Well, yes and no- songs aren't uploaded, videos are
 Done
  • "a bright and airy production" I don't really know what this means
 Done
  • Was it released as a single? If not, I don't think it can really be described as as "taken from" the album
 Done
  • "Love You like a Love Song" or "Love You Like a Love Song"?
 Done
  • "On March 13, 2013, the song, known then as "Rule the World"," Was this the first song leaked?
What? Lol
Was this the first song from the album leaked to the Internet? Were any other songs leaked before the release? J Milburn (talk) 11:13, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Done Made a note of this in the sentence.
  • "The next day, Gomez responded to the leak by uploading the song" Again, a video rather than a song
 Done
  • "accompanied by house music breakdowns" According to breakdown (music), a breakdown is a whole song
Unlinked  Done
That doesn't really solve the problem, though- I'm not really clear what is meant by the term in this context. J Milburn (talk) 11:22, 12 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
According to Wikipedia, a "breakdown" in music is: "an instrumental or percussion section or interlude during a song". In this case, it's an instrumental "dance" section after each of the choruses. Unfortunatley, no source is that specific with it.
  • In the lead, you call Bieber Gomez's ex; in the main body, you say they were in a relationship at the time of writing?
 Done
  • "Jim Farber of New York Daily News said the song was about a relationship that went wrong, while also noting that the lyrics sounded like they were about then-boyfriend Justin Bieber.[19] Jeff Benjamin of Fuse echoed Farbers sentiments, noting the song makes several Bieber allusions.[20]" Benjamin (who, as an aside, isn't credited in the footnote) said it first, so Farber echoed him.
 Done
  • "Gomez later clarified the song's meaning, saying "The way I record and I tell my stories and the way I want to tell my life, it's much different. So I never get really afraid, I always want to do it in a positive way, in a beautiful way, in a fun way. So anything I recorded or put out is just stuff that I know represents me tastefully."[18]" I don't think that really clarifies anything!
 Done
  • The main article could do with a mention of the chart position- it could easily be added after Gomez's comments about the song being made into something big.
 Done

Sources are appropriate. The formatting's not perfect, but that's not needed for GA status. Generally, not at all a bad article, considering the song wasn't even released as a single- I have a couple more checks to do, but I suspect I'll be happy to promote once the above issues are dealt with. (I also made some small tweaks to the article, but nothing big.) J Milburn (talk) 17:37, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, thank you, all issues have been addressed.--(CA)Giacobbe (talk) 19:13, 11 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • I note that the producers/writers aren't mentioned in the main body- the lead should summarise what is said elsewhere.
Done Added to the background and recording section.

Great- happy enough with this one now. Seems to answer all the questions, the writing's fine and the sources seem OK (they're not perfect, but I'm not going to scrap about that for GAC). I'd recommend adding a link to a video of the song (as long as it's from an official source!) on YouTube- you could even link it prominently using Template:External media. Anyway, I'm promoting the article now- good work. J Milburn (talk) 00:06, 13 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
