Comments
[edit]- No copyvio
- The only image used has a valid license
- Infobox says the length is 3:59 but the article says three minutes and fifty-seven seconds; fix the inconsistency
- Since I am not an editor of the area I can't know for sure, but are sources like SBS PopAsia or Tone Glow reliable? At first glance, they seem pretty blog-like.
- Per its website, it is/was a music publication founded by a Pitchfork writer Joshua Minsoo Kim so I feel that they are not just a blog and have some valuable critiques. Rmved SBS PopAsia as there is another source with the same content.
- Link moombahton
- in music put out by → in music released by — for formality
- The Critical reception section uses too many quotes. Can you paraphrase some of them?
- The 405 noted — add the name of Chase McMullen here
- was included on the group's first compilation — on → in is more appropriate
- through YGEX November 23, 2018 — missing "on" between YGEX and November
- writing how → "writing that" seems more appropriate
- "'Forever Young' succeeds → {{"'}}Forever Young' succeeds — per MOS:QWQ (resulting in "'Forever Young' succeeds)
- 3rd → third per MOS:ORDINAL
- I don't know about Korean awards, but it reads as if the song was nominated for "Artist of the Year". Could you clarify that?
- That's just the official name of the award, they give 12 "Artist of the Year" awards for the best song of each month of the year.
- "Forever Young" peaked at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart (...) could add inline citation, like the other charts
- Blackpink made history as the first Korean artist to headline the festival — Seems irrelevant to the article and "made history" doesn't seem neutral. Would remove
Spot-check
[edit]Spot-check to follow, soon. Skyshiftertalk 22:45, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
Numbers based on this version
- 5 — clear close-paraphrasing issue; beachy, moombhaton-based (...) within which they declare that BlackPink is "the revolution and a rarity in music put out by K-pop girl groups. — words are the same from the source and there aren't quotation marks in the article. Could you paraphrase it further?
- Also, within which they declare that Blackpink is "the revolution". seemed confusing at first glance. I had to look at the song to see that this is a line from the lyrics. You should clearly state that "Blackpink is the revolution" is a line from the lyrics here. Ref 6 from The 405 can be used with it.
- 6 — I don't see the confirmation for and deemed it the best track from Square Up
- The source wrote "the best bop here"
- 9 —
- 15 —
- 19 —
- 22 —
- 27 —
- 30 — The group gave a longer interview during a sit down with Michael Strahan and Sarah Haines for Strahan and Sarah, which will air on Friday (Feb. 15). They then performed their song "Forever Young" for that appearance. Apparently, it is inaccurate to say that they "reprised" the song on the 15th. They performed the song on the 12th but it only aired on the 15th, so it wasn't a reprise.
