Object oriented

If PowerPoint was first developed in 1983, it seems unlikely that it was object oriented. Though David Parnas's paper on information hiding was published 11 years earlier, and the programming languages simula and smalltalk incorporated many concepts of the object oriented paradigm, the first major conference on object oriented design was not till 1986. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikianonuser (talkcontribs) 23:00, 17 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
