Merge two Forest Park pages, Springfield
[edit]There are two Wikipedia pages for Forest Park, Springfield. This one should be merged with https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Forest_Park_%28Springfield,_Massachusetts%29 Dangnad (talk) 03:26, 24 February 2015 (UTC)
The statue does not appear to be independently notable from the park, especially if its coverage is all local to the area. Cover it in the parent article—it only needs to be split out summary style when warranted by the sourcing. czar 20:06, 25 January 2017 (UTC)
I wholeheartedly agree with CZAR. Stone Dog belongs in the Forest Park article. Dangnad (talk) 22:57, 24 April 2017 (UTC)
- Oppose, as the page is about a well-sourced notable individual sculpture and also tells the story of the two statues and the background of both. This is fine as a stand-alone article about a sculpture, and should be kept as an individual page. Randy Kryn 23:52, 8 May 2017 (UTC)
