Speedy deletion, methinks

[edit]

Or can we expect any article-length eye-openers to materialise within the week?Sartoresartus (talk) 14:55, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I was hasty: I've proposed merging it into the Christoph Schlingensief article, summarised as briefly as possible as it's not a standout project among many similar activities. Since this has been deemed a stub and is unlikely to expand, there's no very good reason why it should stand on its own. Sartoresartus (talk) 08:20, 21 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No, I am absolutely against the deletion, and even merging. The reasons invoked do not justify such action. Obviously the article needs improvement, but deletion and a very briefly summarised entry in another article would likely fade the 'Container' into oblivion. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TomCatTrix (talkcontribs) 13:15, 9 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Against deletion or merger. We are meant to present a world-wide viewpoint on WP; plenty of coverage on German language sites. Philip Cross (talk) 17:32, 24 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Not convinced by either argument; that the container 'would fade into oblivion' unless we hype it is a good reason not to, and that German-language sites give more extensive coverage to a German-language TV program of yore is merely what you'd expect. I'm not saying let's pretend it never happened, I'm asking whether this is such a major work of art as to require its own page -- even though that page would probably remain a stub forever because there's not very much to be said about it.Sartoresartus (talk) 01:54, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
