No it has to cover relations with the whole world. The great majority of readers will be looking at one country or region--if we have people interested in the whole world--well they must spend lots of time reading but they should not be the reason we delete accurate information. This is especially important because we do not know what countries will be central to Trump in next four years--those counries will be studied here as a base of comparison, Rjensen (talk) 06:05, 11 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

"Bromance"

Under Europe -> Russia -> During the 2016 campaign section, there is a sections that reads:

During the campaign his praise blossomed into what many observers termed a "bromance".

The result of the move request was: Moved - The only policy-based reason given to not move was essentially WP:CRYSTAL, but the consensus was that a second Trump administration is already a present topic and the proposed title is consistent with other articles. Foreign policy of the Donald Trump administration → Foreign policy of the first Donald Trump administration – Donald Trump has won the presidential election and will be inaugurated into a second non-consecutive term beginning on January 20, 2025.

@BarrelProof, you don’t realize that many other articles have already been renamed. Examples: First presidency of Donald Trump (the original article leads to a disambiguation page now); and First inauguration of Donald Trump among others. Not trying to gatekeep, canvass, or bludgeon the process in any way. I just want to make sure you are aware of the precedent that has already been set in other Donald Trump-related articles. To further my point: there are also already articles pertaining to Trump’s future second presidency (eg: Second presidency of Donald Trump, Second inauguration of Donald Trump, etc.); and moving this article to the proposed title would clear the way to create a Foreign policy of the second Donald Trump administration article, once Trump is inaugurated and actually starts laying out his foreign policy. @BarrelProof, the first presidency of Donald Trump article did have an RM and it was speedily closed/moved. I presume it was probably a WP:SNOW closure but it didn’t explicitly say that SNOW was the reason. Hurricane Clyde 🌀^{my talk page!} 04:03, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
And the second Trump administration part is a red link; you’re absolutely correct. But I intentionally linked the red link because we all know that an article will be created with the above title soon after (if not before) Trump commences his second term. The RM discussion for the First presidency of Donald Trump article was only open about two-and-a-half hours. That's a blip, not a proper RM discussion. Even Wikipedians sometimes sleep or do other things for a few hours. —⁠ ⁠BarrelProof (talk) 04:13, 12 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I just remembered there is a concurrent similar RM at Talk:Political appointments by Donald Trump#Requested move 7 November 2024. That one has basically unanimous comments suggesting to wait.
