Ford Cardinal?

[edit]

As far as I know the Ford Cardinal never went into production, but the engine ended up in the Ford Taunus (known as the Ford Taunus V4 engine). // Liftarn (talk)

Source for name discussion

[edit]

The source currently given about the name of the car is a dead link. Searching the target site (Ford media not exactly RS) I found an article that quoted a book. The book has a careful discussion of the naming of the car. It can be found at Google Books as a ref[1]
