Michael Jackson made 32 million USD in 1987 and 65 million USD in 1988. Someone has added the 2 years together. He did absolutely not earn 125 million in 1989. The 125 million USD was the Gross Income from a tour that lasted between 1987 to 1989. And since he only played a few concerts in January 1989 along with album sales 28 million USD sounds like the right amonunt for Michael Jackson for 1989. Bruce Springsteen made more money than Michael Jackson between 1987 to 1989. Springsteen earned 56 million USD in 1987, 61 million USD in 1988 and 40 million USD in 1989 for a total of 157 million USD. 95.193.181.91 (talk) 21:56, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Forbes scoring period is from June to June, as explained on the Lead paragraph. MJ earned 125 million between June 1988 and June 1989. Bluesatellite (talk) 14:06, 10 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Jackson completely wrong Earnings Springsteen earned much more during 1987 to 1989
There is a big misstake in this list. According to the original Forbes magazines which I have Bruce Springsteen earned 157 million USD the period September 1987 to September 1989. Springsteen was the biggest earning artist for those years. No 2 on the list for september 1987 to 1989 was Michael Jackson with 125 million USD. 90.233.192.185 (talk) 11:28, 4 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
