Would it be possible to merge this article with Soccer tennis ? Looks to me like unnecessary duplication.

History

[edit]

Footballtennis ("nohejbal" in czech) is much older. Soccer players in Czechoslovakia started playing it in some 1930s (if not 1920s), 1944 first rules, from 1962 official contests etc. See history on official czech association site: http://nohejbal.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=122&Itemid=116 88.103.75.84 (talk) 15:41, 4 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Jokgu

[edit]

Is Jokgu identical with Footballtennis? It seems to be at least very similar and should be mentioned. --Marco Schmidt (talk) 14:32, 13 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

confusion

[edit]

The lede says any part of the body except the hands may be used but the history section says (originally?) any part except the arms.

Also, I don't want to get into a soccer/American football fight, but couldn't we use the word soccer when describing the ball? It would clarify things. Kdammers (talk) 01:48, 29 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

other variants

[edit]

Is there someother variants of thefootball tennis? Street football game? and this, what it is? indoor football tennis? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dawid2009 (talkcontribs) 17:36, 30 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

encyclopedic language

[edit]

This wording seems to be too promotional: "is a fantastic sport." Kdammers (talk) 13:34, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
