Identifying teams in progress table
[edit]I've just reverted, for the second time, an IP editor's addition of team identifying color behind the names of the contestants, removing the narrow bands of color previously used. The reverted version over-saturates the table with color, making it very difficult to read and diminishing the usefulness of the color scheme. The narrow bands are all that is needed to identify the teams (I've also moved the key to the teams above the table), and maintains emphasis on the individual contestants' progress. I've left a message for the IP editor on his/her talk page, requesting he/she discuss any differences of opinion here and provide edit summaries. --Drmargi (talk) 14:55, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
Looks great! The order of the contestants was mixed up, so i went ahead and adjusted it. Now everything should be in correct order. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rsuss910 (talk • contribs) 12:35, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

I would like to edit the whole Week 3 and Week 4 section, as Week 3 was accidentally deleted, and Week 4 does not have a title or the losing dishes in the Star Challenge. Thank you!

- Considering you're the reason this article is semi-protected to begin with, it's unlikely anyone will remove the protection so you can edit it. Other editors will add the episode details over the next few days. Moreover, now you have demonstrated you know how to use a talk page, we will expect you to do so when making controversial edits; your disruptive and tendentious editing persists on other season articles. --Drmargi (talk) 02:30, 5 June 2012 (UTC)
Ratings...

- Never mind. I tire of edit wars. — WylieCoyote (talk) 01:00, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
Judges' Favorites and Elimination Table
[edit]Sorry about not using the talk page, but why do you feel the need to delete the Judges' Favorites for Week 6? What Judges' Favorites have become over the past couple of weeks are the judges' favorite performances and food for that week, without saying their names in judging. There were technically Judges' favorites for only Weeks 1 and 4. But, from the comments of the judges, you can make out which contestants were their favorites from the Weeks 2, 3, 5, and 6. In that case, Emily, Michele, and Yvan were their favorites from each team in Week 6. In the elimination table, there are certain instances were there should be pink colored. For example, in Week 5, the judges said that Justin and Emily were safe right off the start, making them have pink in the table. Thank you for your cooperation. :) — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.81.90.92 (talk) 04:26, 21 June 2012 (UTC)
- "from the comments of the judges, you can make out which contestants were their favorites" - Unless judges specifically state who their favourites are, interpretations constitute original research, which is NOT permitted. --AussieLegend (talk) 21:51, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
- As is your habit, you're treating this as a fan page, not an encyclopedia. You can report what you know, not what you think you know. If you have to deduce what the judges might mean from the heavily edited discussion, you're not reporting what we know. --Drmargi (talk) 22:04, 23 June 2012 (UTC)
I get what you're saying for this and for the stuff I'm editing on Chopped. There were no Judges' favorites for Weeks 2, 3, 5, and 6, so that is fine. But the only thing I want to edit the the pink in the elimination table because in Week 5, Justin and Emily were called first, and in Week 3, Nikki was called first. Thanks! :)
- Sorry, the pink is unnecessary and just too complicated for the sake of one week. Leave it all alone until we reach consensus. --Drmargi (talk) 03:21, 24 June 2012 (UTC)
Edit request on 24 July 2012- Contestant Progress
[edit]Under "Contestant Progress," Yvan and Michele should be switched in order. Yvan has 2 wins, 2 highs, no lows, while Michele has 1 win, 2 highs, and a low. Yvan was also the only contestant never to be in a Producer's challenge, while Michele was. If you have additional information on the breakdown of the final vote count of each contestant which warrant Michele's placement, please present it. Otherwise Yvan should be above Michele. --Rsuss910 (talk) 14:50, 24 July 2012 (UTC)comment added by Rsuss910 (talk • contribs) 10:48, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
- That would suggest the order in which the chefs are listed is ranked in some way and that the show ranked the finalists, which it didn't do; neither did it announce the outcome of the vote. Moreover, overall wins/losses and appearances in the producers' challenge had no influence on the outcome. Our ranking the competitors on arbitrary criteria is entirely WP:OR. Absent any ranking information from the show, they appear in alphabetical order, which is appropriate per WP:NPOV. Please revert your edit. --Drmargi (talk) 14:55, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

- Why bother? He's a seasonal loser, nothing more. There's no need to add anything here about him that isn't already included. --Drmargi (talk) 20:01, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
